Ana de Costa specializes in creating one of a kind bespoke jewellery, ranging from bespoke engagement rings and wedding bands, through to pieces that mark various occasions throughout the lives' of her clients. She has been doing so for almost 20 years. Everything that Ana creates is driven by the desire to create sustainable and meaningful fine jewellery that will stand the test of time and be passed down through generations, from mother to daughter and so forth. This means that she shuns mass production and opts to design exquisite fine jewellery and objet d'art that pushes the boundaries of design and British craftsmanship.

1. Initial Private Consultation
The bespoke journey begins with a private consultation with Ana to discuss your ideas, the piece you are looking to have made and budgets. Ana will personally guide you through this process, helping to identify materials and gemstones and masterfully drawing inspiration from you, making further suggestions and recommendations based on her experience of making exceptional fine jewellery. The process is a truly collaborative experience, ensuring that you are involved in the whole process.

2. Bringing Your Concept to Life
Following on from the initial consultation, Ana will source a selection of ethically mined gemstones for you to view, along with some initial designs that are based on your discussions. We work with the most prestigious gemstone dealers and are able to source a variety of precious gemstones, along with exceptional white diamonds and natural fancy coloured diamonds.

3. From Concept Through to Creation
Once you have approved the final design, materials and costs, your bespoke creation is crafted by skilled craftspeople, in the heart of London's jewellery district, Hatton garden. Ana works closely with the workshop to ensure that the exacting details are achieved and keeps you informed by photographing the process at different stages.

4. Your Bespoke Creation
The making part of the bespoke experience takes between 4-6 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the design. Once complete, each bespoke piece is presented in our bespoke boxes which are handcrafted specifically for us by a small family run firm in Suffolk. The entire process from initial consultation, through to finished creation normally takes between 6-10 weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece.
